Abhi Madallapalli
Hi everyone! My name is Abhi Madallapalli, and I'm a junior at Vista del Lago. This is my fourth year participating in Model UN, and I'm so excited to serve as Secretary-General for VMUNC VIII. I've attended/staffed multiple high school and collegiate-level conferences, including several iterations of VMUNC, ARCMUNC, DMUNC, BMUNC, BruinMUN, and BearMUN, and I've also had the opportunity to chair, staff, and coach newer delegates through Model UN and debate programs. Outside of MUN, I enjoy working out, dirt biking, hiking, snowboarding, climbing, exploring new places, and spending time with friends. My biggest advice for new delegates is to put yourself out there even if you're nervous at first. Everyone feels unsure during their first conference, but the best way to get better is by raising your placard, speaking when you can, and working with other delegates during unmods. VMUNC is known for being a welcoming conference, so ask questions, stay confident, and try to have fun with it. We're so excited to welcome everyone to VMUNC VIII!
